Türkçe - İngilizce
velocity
Rapidity of motion
The number of times that an average unit of currency is spent during a specific period of time
{n} speed, swiftness, quickness of moition
The distance travelled in a certain direction per unit of time Velocity differs from speed in that the direction of motion is also specified
{i} speed; rate of change of the position of a moving body in relation to its speed and direction of travel
The number of times a dollar is spent, or turns over, in a specific period of time Velocity affects the amount of economic activity generated by a given money supply
Ratio of change in position to time interval over which change takes place
The rate of occurrence
Quickness of motion; swiftness; speed; celerity; rapidity; as, the velocity of wind; the velocity of a planet or comet in its orbit or course; the velocity of a cannon ball; the velocity of light
Time rate of motion in a given direction and sense, usually expressed in feet per second
The rate of change of displacement with respect to time (measured in meters per second, with the appropriate direction)
change in position with respect to time; velocity has both a magnitude and a direction
a rate of change of position in relation to time
Velocity is the speed at which something moves in a particular direction. the velocities at which the stars orbit. high velocity rifles. Quantity that designates the speed and direction in which a body moves. It can be represented graphically by an arrow (pointing in the direction of the motion), the length of which is proportional to the magnitude, or speed. For an object in circular motion, the direction at any instant is tangential to the circle at that point, and so is perpendicular to the radius at that point. The instantaneous speed of a vehicle, such as an automobile, can be determined by a speedometer, or mathematically by differential calculus. The average speed is the ratio of the distance traveled in any given time interval divided by the time taken
Rate of change of position in a given direction
See the Note under Speed
Velocity is the MIDI way of determining how hard a note is pressed on the keyboard controller
The speed of an object together with its direction
