Etimoloji
(adjective.) 1895. From German kaputt, though more often rendered kaput in English; via Yiddish קאַפּוט (kaput, “lost, dead”). The same word is also borrowed into Albanian, Catalan, Dutch, French, Greek, Spanish, Polish, Russian, Swedish and Turkish, with approximately the same meaning.
