(Ticaret) A tier 1 supplier is the immediate or primary set of vendors directly used by a company, and tier 2 is a vendor to tier 1. In some industries the final customers or dominant chain partners are consolidating (reducing) their number of tier 1 suppliers, and requiring proof of the communications and fulfillment capabilities between tier 1 and tier 2
