Provides leadership in the overall management of large projects or initiatives. One of the six major roles of the president of the United is Chief of Party. As Chief of Party, the President's job is to represent the view of his party as a whole, help get members of his party elected, and to represent his party in a positive light. The title is also used by international development organizations, most notably the United States Agency for International Development, in reference to the individual responsible for leading a project's technical direction and providing management oversight for project activities
