A widely naturalized Eurasian herb (Daucus carota var. carota) having white, nonfleshy, fusiform compound umbels of small white or yellowish flowers. Also called wild carrot. or wild carrot Bristly biennial (Daucus carota) of the parsley family, native to Eurasia but now found almost worldwide.
