تعريف vocal cords في الإنجليزية الإنجليزية القاموس.: Two folds of tissue located in the larynx that vibrate when air passes over them, producing the sound waves associated with talking and singing; (Anatomi) (also vocal folds - plural noun) folds of the membranous lining of the larynx which form a slit within the glottis and whose edges vibrate in the airstream to produce the voice; Your vocal cords are the part of your throat that vibrates when you speak. Either of two pairs of bands or folds of mucous membrane in the throat that project into the larynx.
